OK…We all know the love Fox has for SciFi. They ignore the fact that The X-Files is one of the best shows they ever had. They also canceled both Space Above and Beyond and Firefly for no good reason, as well as a plethora of other good SciFi shows. So why should this one be any different?
Fox on Feb. 1 gave a green light to the SF drama pilot Beyond, from writer David Self (Road To Perdition), Variety reported.
Twentieth Century Fox TV and Imagine TV are behind the thriller, which takes place at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. A global crisis helps launch a new race to space as the show opens, the trade paper reported.
Self will executive-produce with Imagine’s Brian Grazer and David Nevins.
I give it fifteen episodes before they pull the plug. Either way, after the bitter pill I swallowed from having watched Reunion, which was canceled before the killer was revealed, I can never trust Fox to watch this sort of show on their network again.
That’s nothing have you heard about the new Aquaman TV show being created for the new CW network? Yikes Aquaman!!
Hey thanks for stopping by my site… the moment my site is working again, grrr service outage, I can moderate your comment.
Anyways… Fox Scifi? ooooh I give it 8 episodes.
Hey, no problem man. I really enjoyed reading your stuff. I’ll be checking back.
Perhaps I am being too optimistic.
