Take this job and shove it…..
Well, not really. I just always liked that song. I am fortunate enough to be starting a new job on the 3rd. I’m really excited about it. I won’t say who I am working for, but it’s a company I’ve worked for before. I’ll be working as a consultant from home with a lot of my time spent traveling. Like I said, I’m really excited about it. I know the few people I told about it said they were praying for me to get it. That I very much appreciate.

Traveling? Would that be bringing you ’round Memphis at all?

Wonderful. I am truly happy for you. I am in my sixth month of unemployment — from when I left being a Protestant minister because I became Catholic - just so it’s clear I’m not some slouch
Awesome, again, I rejoice with you.

Perhaps. My boss is in Memphis, so there is always a chance for that.

Wow! A new job, congrats! That’s soooo cool. You’ll need to email me and tell me where since I guess it’s not cool to divuldge such information out on the public airwaves. Congrats again, you deserve to work at a good place. Nice to see you out of the clutches of the sinking ship.

Marc, you are sorely missed. However, God has looked down upon me and granted my wish for a new job. I gave my boss my resignation letter this past Friday and I start my new job on the 30th! KEEP IN TOUCH!

[...] So on my new job, I’m working on a project at a little fruit company in Cupertino, CA. I was leading a meeting yesterday, when my Dell laptop suddenly “blue screened“. It was so embarrassing. There were literally cat calls when it happened. I felt compelled to yell out “I’m a Mac user, don’t make fun of me!”…. [...]
