My life at Apple
So on my new job, I’m working on a project at a little fruit company in Cupertino, CA. I was leading a meeting yesterday, when my Dell laptop suddenly “blue screened“. It was so embarrassing. There were literally cat calls when it happened. I felt compelled to yell out “I’m a Mac user, don’t make fun of me!”….
So now that Apple has come out with these, I’m sorely tempted to pick one up and carry it around with me instead of the Dell my employer issued to me.

Tempted? Only tempted? Don’t hesitate, man. Go for it!
No more blue screens, no more viruses, no more inexplicable freezes and malfunctions.
Splurge on some extra RAM and with Boot Camp - you can still boot up in Windows if you still want to.
Even Paul Thurrott says they are fast!
Yours sincerely,
John Davis

Yes, only tempted. We just bought a new car and moving into a new apartment. Otherwise, it would be mine.
Bonus time is July. I am planning to pick up one at the store in the mothership….

[...] It’s a weird thing. Right now, you may or may not know I am working on a project out in California. One really good thing about the project is the project manager. We have a great project manager who has secured for us very cheap hotel rooms. These rooms include a kitchenette, so we’ve been spending some time in the grocery store. This is a great thing, because I have unfortunately gained some weight since starting this job, instead of continuing to loose some like I was before. I guess the meals at Fridays and Chillies wasn’t the best for someone trying to shed some pounds. So it’s a good thing we’re able to grocery shop. I can eat a better diet. Hopefully I’ll also be able to start exercising again. I might be a little behind on my New Years resolution, but I am getting back on track. [...]
