Watching “Amok Time”, It’s A-Mazing

I am loving this week’s episode of the re-mastered Star Trek. It’s the Vulcan salmon mating ritual episode entitled “Amok Time“. Here I was, talking about the redone special effects of the new re-mastered episodes as if the exterior space scenes were all they could really improve. Boy was I wrong. The sequences on Vulcan were so cool. I like the way they work around the sparsity outside the Vulcan set from the original version by making the whole thing take place at the top of a mountainous intrusion so high off the surface that nothing could be seen on the horizon beyond expect the open sky. Like I said, pretty cool. Watching was much more pleasurable than remembering…..

I am a big Star Trek fan myself and I have not gotten a chance to check this episode out yet.

But the digital remastered videos are very nicely done. Don’t know if you are a Big fan of the old Battlestar Galactica….. nicely done also.

Thanks for dropping by my blog!

Watch it as soon as you can young lady!

I actually found your place through Lemuel who had commented on the previous post about BSG.

I was skeptical about Ghost Rider, even with the box office take until reading you guys reviews of it. Now I am kind of looking forward to it.

Lem and I watched the last 6 (new) Battlestar Galactica episodes last night one after another. They’ve done such a good job with that show. We’re thinking of running around the city and see if we can find a live set so we can take pictures to post on his blog :)

I am going to see if Lem can download the remastered Amok Time and maybe we can watch it tonight.

Ghost Rider, I just really like Nicolas Cage. But the men, well, it has to be an Eva Mendes thing. She’s rumoured to be doing She-Hulk. Marvel is the next best thing to sci-fi……
