Lost - Expose

So…UM…WOW!

That was one of the most awesome “filler” episodes of any series I’ve ever seen. Just….WOW!

Did anyone else hear in the airport when they paged “Patrick Stewart” overhead?

Comment please! I want to hear what other folks think….

My closed-captioning said they paged “Captain Stewart”.

Shucks. I was really hoping he would show up and starting singing some Rodgers and Hammerstein tunes. It could happen. It’s not like we had Lando Calrissian in this episode or anything…..

I didn’t like this episode because nothing happened to the main plot. Nikki and Paulo were introduced for the first time in season 3 and were never seen previously. I thought they were introduced because they had something to do with the whole ‘Lost’ story, but as it turns out, they just stole some diamonds and died because of it. No impact on the story at all. This was the worst episode I’ve seen yet. But I am still a fan - I’m just disappointed. It would have been good if it showed them talking to the others through the walkie talkie… but instead they are characters that were introduced so they could ‘fill’ an episode.

I have to completely disagree with you Matt. I thought this was an awesome episode. I’m really happy that the cast and crew could do a “filler episode” that was so fun to watch. That’s what a doing a good TV show is all about, being fun to watch. It doesn’t really matter that it wasn’t a good “mythology” episode, we’ve been blessed with quite a few of those lately. At least they didn’t give a complete crap filler episoe, like they did on BSG two weeks in a row a while back.

So, explain this to me. Had they shot all those other scenes over the last 3 years knowing they were going to do this episode? The original Beach scene, the airport and everything?

Pete - On the official podcast they said that it was mostly re-filmed. I think they also said a very little of it was CGI.
