Does anyone out there know what kind of flower this is? It showed up in my mom’s garden and no one seems to know what it is.

    So glad you posted this! I have these, too, except mine are mostly white-petaled with purple in the center.

    Funny thing is, he mumbled something about an “eye stalk” and said he he had never seen anything like it before.
