A couple of weeks ago, I posted a disagrement with Bishop Sopi’s stance on political issue. Disagreements aside, he is a Catholic Bishop and I love him for his service to the Church. I am sure the people of Serbia will mis him. Let’s all keep him and the people of his flock in our prayers.

Bishop Marko Sopi, Apostolic Administrator of Prizren, Serbia and Montenegro, has died. His death fell just 5 days after his 10th anniversary of episcopal consecration. He had also served as a priest for 37 years. May he rest in peace.

Eternal rest grant unto them oh Lord. And may perpetual light shine on them. May the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

This man was a phenomenal singer and entertainer who just lost his battle with lung cancer. Let’s be sure to keep him and his family in out prayers.
